This Charity, officially known as "THE EXETER RELIEF IN NEED CHARITY" considers applications for financial assistance (eg. to purchase school uniform, household furniture and equipment, floor coverings, essential travelling expenses, heating costs etc.) from people who live in the Exeter area who could not afford them otherwise.

Interviews of applicants are held four times per year in February, May, August and November.
