This Charity, officially known as "THE EXETER ADVANCEMENT IN LIFE CHARITY" considers applications made by or on behalf of people under the age of 25 at the date of application who live within 15 miles of Exeter and need financial help while at school, college or university and need to provide any of the following:

• Books
• Tools of trade
• Tuition fees
• Uniform or special clothing
• Travel assistance (including overseas)
